Blue Legal have partnered with a leading US law firm to look for a Business Development Executive to join their London office. The role holder will work alongside the Assistant Director of Business Development and practice group leaders to support the development and execution of marketing and client development plans.

The Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and support the preparation of new business proposals, pitches and client presentations.
  • Liaising with members of the Firm’s events team to coordinate and implement client webinars, events, including organising virtual and in-person logistics and preparing post-event reports.
  • Identify and participate in conferences, seminars, forums, sponsorships, and speaking and writing opportunities.
  • To produce, draft and review internal and external communications.
  • Support the communications team in developing and updating group marketing materials, including client alerts, website content and other external communication campaigns.
  • Prepare corporate transactions reports for quarterly league table rankings.
  • Manage and maintain corporate transactions database for proposals, directory submissions, website updates, including (M&A, private equity, capital markets, finance, project finance, venture capital, and technology transactions).

The Candidate:

  • To have previous law firm experience is highly desirable.
  • Must be educated to degree level: focus in Marketing/Communications, business, or related field.
  • Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Salesforce, Pardot, and Adobe PDF skills.
