A prominent US-based law firm are seeking an Events Manager to join their London office for a 6-month maternity cover contract. The role-holder will manage the delivery of the events function involving planning and executing a diverse range of events that supports internal marketing and business development objectives.

The Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the London event strategy, ensuring events and KPIs are aligned with strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with various departments to assess the business value of each event and provide guidance as needed.
• Successfully plan and execute large and small-scale events catering to priority business growth areas and targeted audiences.
• Take ownership of event delivery, managing all aspects including initial briefing to on-the-day event management.
• Conduct post-event debriefs and deliver qualitative and quantitative post-event analysis to measure and assess event success.
• Liaising with relevant teams across the business to ensure event processes, documentation and guidance are kept updated, and in line with best practice.
• Responsible for managing and promoting the London Events Calendar, and internally promoting visibility of event activity.
• Staying updated on competitor activity, new industry developments and maintaining relationships with external suppliers.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience managing events, preferably within a legal / professional services environment.
• Excellent project management and problem solving skills
• Possess existing relationships with London suppliers and vendors (Advantageous).
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
