A leading international law firm is seeking a Communications Manager to lead strategic external and internal communications initiatives across the UK and other global offices. The role-holder will take lead in achieving the firm’s ambitious growth strategy, working closely with stakeholders to devise and execute communications plans. The Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior PR Manager and manage daily press office activities.
- Implement PR strategies for priority sectors, practices, and international hubs, managing media queries from national and legal press.
- Collaborate with the Senior PR Manager and Internal Communications team to delivery business announcements such as partner promotions and financial results.
- Advise senior stakeholders and execute communication strategies for various initiatives, including partner hires, office openings, and digital innovations.
- Monitor client engagement programs and business development activities to capture and promote strategic success stories.
- Develop content in various formats for external channels and the internal news desk.
- Manage communication strategies related to the firm’s strategic partnerships and sponsorships.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices to continuously enhance the firm’s communication approach.
The Candidate:
- Proven experience in PR and corporate communications, ideally within professional services, legal, or related industries.
- A strong track record in planning and executing strategic communications and PR campaigns, securing media coverage, and managing media relations.
- Understanding of the legal market and issues affecting law firms, with specific knowledge of the Private Wealth sector and corporate practices being a plus.
- Excellent writing and editing abilities, with a talent for crafting compelling content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
- A qualification in PR, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
