A leading international law firm is looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to join their team based from one of their regional offices. The role holder will support their Finance and Projects Group and will work closely with the Business Development Manager to deliver the group strategy through related BD and Marketing activity.  This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a route for progression within an innovative and award-winning firm.

The Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with partners and key stakeholders across the group, becoming a trusted BD advisor to them.
  • Develop, implement and review BD plans for practice groups.
  • Provide support and also lead on the BD targeting activities, tracking opportunities from large programmes and campaigns.
  • Lead on the production and delivery of bids and tenders for new business opportunities, from completing PQQ type response and taking ownership for response drafts.
  • Taking a lead role on appropriate bid opportunities and providing adequate support to the Bids team on major panel tenders.
  • Instrumental in providing support to partners and other fee-earners in relation to individual client meetings. This may include working alongside the Bids team to produce any pitch related documentation.

The Candidate:

  • Previous business development experience ideally gained in a fast paced corporate or professional services environment.
  • Focused on delivery and deadlines, remaining calm and considered under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic, ‘can do’ approach which inspires confidence in others.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
