Blue Legal is working closely with an ambitious law firm who are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Development Executive to join their BD & Marketing team. In this role you will work closely with lawyers and the wider Marketing Team to provide marketing and Business Development advice across sectors, services and locations. The role will drive revenue-generating and reputation-enhancing activities across the business.
The Responsibilities:
- Advise senior leaders and partners on business development plans and marketing strategies aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives to grow existing and new work streams.
- Develop and manage business development budgets, ensuring effective allocation for maximum return on investment.
- Project manage marketing campaigns, conduct market research, identify opportunities, and enhance client, referrer, and prospect relationships through targeted initiatives.
- Build sector expertise, network within relevant markets, facilitate lawyer introductions, and support client plans through event planning and execution.
- Supervise, guide, and support marketing and business development team members while working closely with Relationship & Communications teams to align efforts with market trends.
- Support the Relationships Team in managing CRM systems, maintaining client lists, and promoting best practices for GDPR compliance.
The Candidate:
- 3+ years of relevant marketing and Business Development experience.
- Experience of working in professional services.
- Experience of working and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
- Degree qualified desirable.
- Demonstrable project management and/or account management skills are desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM.
