A renowned international law firm is looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to join their team based in London. The successful candidate will provide support to their Disputes practice groups in the delivery of projects, BD activities and assist with pitch preparation and delivery.

The Responsibilities:                                    

  • Assist the team in various projects and BD efforts associated with the Disputes practice groups.
  • Coordinating pitch materials, presentations and responses to Requests for Proposals and facilitate presentation preparation by helping with creating and editing materials.
  • Collaborate with U.S., EME and Asia counterparts to ensure a comprehensive offering to clients.
  • Implement activities arising from targeting and business plans and regular checking of achievement against these plans.
  • Assist with developing group meeting agendas and presentations, and preparing meeting summaries.
  • Gather information on clients and help the lawyers focus on opportunities at partner conferences, speaker events and/or business trips/client meetings.
  • Coordinate contributions associated to attorney experience and client information into business development systems including CRM and Foundation.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience working within a legal / professional services environment.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to quickly learn new database systems.
  • Able to independently manage and prioritise projects against competing priorities.
