A dynamic international law firm are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their Munich or Frankfurt office, on a 6-month FTC. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and is proficient in Microsoft apps. The role includes being responsible for the logistics and execution of the Frankfurt and Munich office-based events (in-person, virtual or hybrid), gaining proficiency in the relevant firm applications, and updating the events calendar on both the firm website and intranet.
The Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Business Development and relevant teams to gather event requirements, including room setup, catering, IT, AV, and merchandise, ensuring timely execution.
- Capture and record event details in the appropriate forms, ensuring all logistical needs are met.
- Use Email Marketing tools to send event invites, reminders, and confirmations in collaboration with the Design Team and Business Development.
- Monitor RSVP responses and produce name badges for Reed Smith-originated events, ensuring smooth registration.
- Ensure all event setup requirements are fulfilled on the day of the event, serving as the primary point of contact during the event.
- Maintain event resources, including calendars, digital file folders, and team pages on ouRSpace.
- Assist with German language RFPs, pitches, translation of documents, and the creation of marketing collateral for the Frankfurt and Munich offices.
- Support recruitment efforts by drafting job descriptions, managing candidate communications, conducting interviews, and assisting with employer branding and lateral recruitment.
