An award-winning global law firm are seeking a Business Development Manager to support one of their core sector groups, based in London. In this role you’ll join the Business Development team and contribute to the development and pursuit of clients in the Transport practice area, as well as targeting key clients for firmwide campaigns, pitches and events.

The Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with partners and fee earners to optimise event participation, track ROI, and implement follow-up strategies.
  • Execute marketing plans across various channels, using analytics to identify and track leads effectively.
  • Lead initiatives for client engagement, including social media campaigns and content creation, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Support pipeline review meetings, maintain accurate data in BD systems, and drive improvements as needed.
  • Oversee the pitch process for strategic opportunities, coordinating stakeholders and providing advisory support.
  • Provide support with the legal directories and awards submissions process including research and content management tasks.
  • Prepare supporting materials for client meetings and pitch presentations, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Working closely with the Senior Manager, lead strategic pitches ensuring the Go/No Go evaluation and pitch reviews are completed.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience working within a Legal / Professional Services environment.
  • Previous project-management experience.
  • Works comfortably at manager level and able to influence key partner/lawyer groups.
