A leading UK Accountancy firm, is recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their London office. The firm is seeking someone to work closely with Financial and Business Services divisions, and wider BD team to develop, shape and manage their growth strategy for audit and non-audit services.

The Responsibilities:

  • Developing strategies to target new clients and build market share across key sectors
  • Generating market intelligence and conducting research to inform business development strategy and plans.
  • Creating cohesive action plans for campaigns to maximise opportunities, managing activity and reporting on progress.
  • Developing and monitoring relationship plans to foster and enhance conversations with prospective clients.
  • Understanding and developing existing client relationships.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure that marketing initiatives, events and thought leadership initiatives align with business development objectives.
  • Working with the Proposals team to ensure that tender documents and pitch presentations reflect the client needs and articulate our value proposition.

The Candidate:

  • Extensive experience working in the corporate market in a professional services environment, ideally in Audit.
  • Strong understanding of the market, competitive and regulatory landscape.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering successful business development initiatives.
  • Be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent relationship-building skills.
