Blue Legal are working closely with a London-based law firm, known for their work in the Private Client and Tech sectors, to recruit a Business Development & Marketing Manager to join their team. The firm is seeking someone to drive the business development and marketing strategy, working closely with the Head of Business Development & Marketing and Partners. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong business development & marketing experience.

The Responsibilities:

• Take lead in refining and delivery of BD&M plans, helping to identify market and client trends, and growth opportunities from existing and potential clients.
• Driving data processes, insight reports and sharing information across key audiences.
• Identification and development of key client relationships, and overseeing delivery of all relationship development activities.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality events across the team, including post-event follow-ups and extended BD opportunities.
• Responsible for the pitch process, including drafting and editing content and advising on content tailored to each opportunity.
• Development of marketing collateral including capability statements, presentations and other client communications.
• Work closely with the Communications Manager to integrate internal communications and PR activity with external profile raising of the firm and positioning of departments.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience working within a legal / professional services firm.
• A minimum of 6 years’ marketing / BD experience in a similar position.
• Confidence to lead and manage discussions and meetings with partners, lawyers and other members of the firm.
• Possess strong writing and editing skills.
