Blue Legal have partnered with a top-tier Scottish law firm to find a talented Proposals Writer to join their Edinburgh / Glasgow office. The successful candidate will work closely with the Proposals Manager to create compelling proposals submissions to promote the firm’s activities across the public, private and third sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled writer with a proven track record in producing successful proposals.

The Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on clients and sectors to identify key priorities and win themes for the opportunity qualification process.
• Develop persuasive first draft answers/responses, making use of information from the proposals library, to be reviewed by the Proposals Manager.
• Managing responses from content contributors from across the firm to ensure win themes are communicated.
• Maintenance of the firm’s library of proposal collateral and developing content where gaps exist and capturing content from proposals submitted.
• Collaborate with the Head of Proposals to support proposals initiatives and achieve strategic firm, and client-specific plans.
• Work closely with members of the wider MBD team to deliver specific initiatives according to tight-deadlines.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience working within a proposals/bids position ideally within a professional services firm.
• Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in English, marketing or business equivalent subjects.
• Strong level of written English language.
• Experience working with proposal automation software.
