A leading global law firm is searching for a Senior Business Development Executive to join their London office. This role will support with the execution of the firm’s marketing and business development initiatives under the guidance of a Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong project management abilities, and collaborate with key practice groups and the wider team to oversee projects from concept to delivery.

The Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to key practice groups, to develop and implement marketing, business and client development initiatives.
  • Developing client proposals and presentation materials in response to RFPs and other new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for the production of custom marketing packages and promotional materials.
  • Drafting and editing marketing collateral, presentations and lawyer biographies.
  • Maintain and regularly update practice group contact lists in the firm’s CRM database.
  • Producing reports on competitors/markets information using firmwide research tools and library resources, including development of prospect lists for targeted initiatives.
  • Coordination of marketing communications materials including articles, newsletters and electronic news alerts.
  • Tracking the firm’s BD activities in the firm’s proposal tracking system.
  • Assist in the coordination of public relations activities for the office and practice.

The Candidate:

  • Possess a relevant degree in marketing or communications.
  • Previous experience working within a legal / professional services firm (2-5 years minimum).
  • Able to write and produce proposals, collateral, research reports and client-facing presentation materials.
  • Strong IT skills in using Microsoft Office software is essential, and knowledge of InterAction CRM (Advantageous).
